Daycare Center

The Pokemon Daycare Center is located just south of Goldenrod City on Route 33. They not only raise your Pokemon, but will even breed them for you.

There's an old man and old lady that run the Daycare Center. They can each take one Pokemon to raise for a certain price. Give the male Pokemon to the old man, and a female to the old lady. Some Pokemon don't like other Pokemon. Be sure and check for compatibility.

You may see the old man standing in the backyard after you walk or bike around for awhile outside. Go and talk to him. If you didn't drop off more than 5 Pokemon, he will give you an Egg. You can hatch the Egg by carrying it in your party just like the way Togepi hatches. The Baby Pokemon will be at LV5 when it hatches.
